| I never update this thing anymore. I think its because I started this xanga with the intent to never go all emotional in my entrees, and keep it light and humorous. And the truth is, I've run out of humorous observations. After 23 years on this earth, nothing strikes me as ironic anymore. Ok, that's not completely true...part of it is complete laziness. So, here I go. I shall try again!
The other day, I was in studio with some friends. Their singer was laying down a rough vocal track, just for reference. Anyway, there's this thing that people use called "auto-tune", and basically, it can make people sing better. Its only evil when bands like Senses Fail use it to hit notes they can't even think about hitting in real life. Well, the point is, the singer sang the line in the song that says "Singing out of tune..." and it had to be tuned a little.
I know, its a little rusty. I'm not on top of my game. But I'll try harder next time. | | |
| WE GOT SCREWED!!!! so hard, so bad, by the PAC 10 refs. wow. I've never seen anything so blatantly horrible. That is all. | | |
| If you feel like being entertained, check out the MTF podcast. And here are the answers to your questions you'll ask as you watch...
a) It's a booth in the foodcourt at Opry Mills Mall in Nashville...Jimbo works there. b) No, we weren't drunk...just very bored. c) Kris suffers from what experts call "drummer's syndrome". it basically means, he spends so much time back there trapped behind a drumset, that when he gets his hands on a microphone, well, you can clearly see what happens.

| today was the first great day i've had in a long time. I will list the reasons why, right now. because its xanga, and i can.
1) I got good news concerning a guitar I want. And so, I've now ordered this guitar to replace my old stolen ones.

2) due to the cancellation of a couple of shows, I get to go to the lake for at least a day or so with my family. That, of course, is one of my favorite things to do in life, and this was going to be the first summer of my whole life I hadn't been able to go.
3) Oh, that guitar up there ^^^, I got an endorsement for it. I now proudly play Fender guitars. well, I guess I did before too. Its just, now the company knows about it.
4) the guy at Guitar Center led us to a place here in North Carolina with a $3.99 combo that included a cheeseburger, onion rings, a corn dog, and a giant sweet tea (amazing...hello, we're in the south). it was delicious.
5) The show, for once, had people there. CRAZY!

| I decided to be a real fat kid yesterday. Danny and I had a radio interview in Tulsa, so we headed up there last night, and I hadn't eaten dinner, which isn't such a big deal because there's a QT with a Wendy's attached right off 44 when you get in Tulsa and we normally grab some hotdogs. And that was the plan. But when I arrived, I had an epiphany. I should combine my two favorite things...Wendy's and QT. So, I went for it. I got my normal combo at Wendy's, a 5 piece nug (hunny mus) and a JBC no tom (that's a 5 piece chicken nugget with honey mustard and a junior bacon cheeseburger, no tomato, for those of you that don't speak wendy's), and combined it with my normal QT combo, a 99ยข hotdog and a 32 oz. cherry coke (mixed by me, of course). What happened after that was delicious. And eaten completely before we got 6 miles down I-44 to the radio station. I'm seriously a fat kid...just really skinny on the outside. | | |
